2018-01-23 Our Journey to Wellness

If you have been following along on my not so regular posts, you may have seen one where Chris and I have begun a new vitamin regiment.

When I started with Melaleuca it was for their Peak Performance: Metabolic Health vitamin. You take them morning and night and depending on your digestion as to whether or not you take them with food. Chris needs to eat a bit and then take the pills. I take them with whatever I am drinking at the time. In the morning it is our current choice of protein shake and at night, well you know me it is whatever is in my glass.

The reason we changed from the GNC vitamins is I was learning more about what the Peak Performance offered and it aided with blood sugar support. With diabetes being something that we have faced in the past, it is always something that is in the back of my mind. Neither of us wants him to have to go back on the meds due to the side effects. So I have been looking into better options for us both to expand our lives by making healthier choices.

Last night he said to me that he thinks these new vitamins are working for him. Giving him more energy and as he got his 2-year medical card last week we are both very positive regarding them. There is a lot of information that is available for me to educate myself on their products and in and around working on my next career choice I try and read more about it. I am liking what products I have tried so far and I plan to try everything that is relevant simply due to their research lab in Germany. I am very excited to share my experiences with anyone who is interested in learning more.

Today I am trying their Luminex; it is a patented blend of St.John’s Wort, Griffonia Seed, Folate, and Vitamin B12 and is to support a positive mental outlook. As this is something we all need at some point, I want to be able to say yay or nay when I am asked. They say it takes about 2-4 weeks before you will see anything. So time will tell but as I don’t think I am that unbalanced… though Chris would thoroughly disagree with me.

Until next time.
